In addition, I am actively particiating in utilizing Intellectual property rights, centered on evaluation of the value of the intellectual properties. I will support clients with a view to not only obtaining intellectual properties but also utilizing the intellectual properties. Recently, I am also foucin on supporting a start-up of our clients’ business activities. I believe that our support for clients' business management based on Intelectual property analysis and market analysis will find new possibilities in clients' business.

Toshiaki Shimoda specializes in chemistry. He has been handling many foreign and domestic prosecutions and appeals, mainly in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, polymers such as resin, batteries, and the like. Before he joined our firm, he was involved in the Research Promotion Bureau of Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for several years.
