- Career to date and Achievements -

Hirohide Kanke specializes in environmental chemistry, particularly in analyzing persistent organic pollutants such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). He focused on source apportionment of sedimentary PAH from biomass burning and fossil fuel combustion using specific technique such as radiocarbon analysis.
He attended Faculty of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, from 1997 to 2001 and studied in Graduate School of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, from 2001 to 2003.
After graduation and working in RIKEN (The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research), he joined our firm.
