Akira Hirakawa manages the firm's Electronics & Information Technologies group. Prior to joining the firm, he was engaged in software development for semiconductor manufacturing apparatuses at a major electric machinery company. He has made many achievements in patent prosecutions in the fields of computer science, communication devices, and semiconductor devices.
